Vehicle ServicingRegular routine maintenance of your vehicle is important and is easily forgotten. By having your car regularly serviced you can identify faults before they potentially develop into much more serious problems. We are happy to discuss potential cost of servicing and adapt service plans to our customers requirements depending on vehicle mileage and type of journey.
We are able to service your vehicles air conditioning system during its annual service or just give it a refresh before the summer months.
Vehicle Repairs
Car technology is constantly advancing, giving drivers greater comfort and reliability than ever before. Automatic lights and rain sensitive wipers are just two examples of things now taken for granted on new cars. Unfortunately things do go wrong, and now, with the complexity of modern vehicle engines and electronics, using the correct procedures and tools to diagnose and repair is essential.
At Autofix we update our diagnostic equipment on a monthly basis and have access to the latest technical data for all makes of cars, vans and motorcycles, which ensures your vehicle is diagnosed and repaired efficiently and economically.
Car & Motorbike MOT'sOur MOT centre is available to test cars, light commercial vehicles and motorcycles. We offer a free retest within 14 days on all tests.
There is a comfortable waiting room and viewing area if you would like us to test your vehicle while you wait.
Motorbikes
We are passionate about motorbikes at Autofix. When your pride and joy is due for it's annual MOT we would like to be of service.
During spring and summer we tend to MOT lot of bikes on a Saturday morning, the kettle is always on, so pop in and chat with us and other bikers while we MOT your bike.
Class I - Motor bicycles (with or without side cars) up to 200cc
Class II - All motor bicycles (including Class I) (with or without side cars)
Class III - Cars and vehicles more than 450 kg unladen weight, taxis, minibuses and ambulances up to 12 passenger seats, Goods Vehicles not exceeding 3,000 kg, caravans and Dual Purpose Vehicles.
The MOT centre is open from 8am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday and 8:30am to 1pm on Saturday.
We will happily discuss any advisory items if found during a test and offer advice on repair or preventative maintenance.
TyresThe importance of keeping your vehicles tyres in good condition can not be overstated. At Autofix we have many years of tyre fitting experience and have invested in some of the best tyre fitting and wheel balancing equipment available.
